Q - What does my child need to wear?
A - T-shirt and shorts are ideal, bare feet are essential. Avoid hoodies and any clothing with poppers. Parents are politely requested to have bare feet too.

Q - My child has special needs - are the classes suitable?
A - Yes, we adapt the movements in class to suit each child. If you have any particular concerns or needs please contact Sherri on 0117 9109563 or Vick on 0117 9563153.

Q - What are the term times for this year?
A - Term times to the end of this year are as follows:

Monday 23rd February 2009 - Friday 3rd April 2009
Monday 20th April 2009 - Friday 22nd May 2009
Monday 1st June 2009 - Friday 24th July 2009
Thursday 3rd September 2009 - Friday 23rd October 2009
Monday 2nd November 2009 - Friday 18th December 2009

Q - Can I bring drinks into the gym?
A - Drinks can be left just outside the door, and you can pop out for a sip anytime. Drinks in the gym are a potential hazard.

Q - Where can I store my personal belongings?
A - You can keep all of your personal belongings in our store cupboard, or alternatively you can hire a locker. Parents are requested to leave prams and buggies under the main stairway.

Q - How much are the classes?
A - Your first class is free, just come along and see what you think. Thereafter classes are £5.00 per session for Club 2 and 3, and £5.50 per session for Club 4. Fees are payable termly in advance.

Q - How much will I be involved?
A - In Clubs 2 and 3 we coach the bigger pieces of equipment; you need to assist your child on the lower level equipment. Club 4 classes are independent.

Q - Can I bring my other children into class?
A - You are welcome to bring siblings into class providing you are able to manage them. Alternatively you can make use of the crèche next door. Please note older children are not insured to use the equipment.

Q - What age can my child start coming to Gymtastic?
A - Children can start with Gymtastic when they are toddling.

Q - Do I have to be a member of Esporta to come to Gymtastic?
A - No you don't need to be a member of Esporta, but we do need your child to be a member of British Gymnastics (see question below).

Q - Do I have to be a British Gymnastics (BG) member?
A - Once you have trialled and have decided to join Gymtastic your child must become a member of BG. This involves a payment of £8.95 per year, payable to BG. The membership provides the following: BG Legal & Personal Accident Insurance, Membership Card, Cloth badge, Complimentary BGtv, £5 voucher redeemable against specific Gymnastic Enterprises Limited promotions.

Q - Why do I need BG membership to attend a BG club?
A - It is a condition of registration that a BG registered club must register all its members otherwise it will invalidate the insurance cover of the club
